Run the Race pt. 1

In the first part of "Run the Race," we explore the powerful imagery of Hebrews 12:1-2 and what it means to run the race of faith. Drawing from the inspiring story of 15-year-old Olympic gold medalist Katie Ledecky, this sermon connects the nerves and pressure of competition to the challenges we face in our walk with Christ. We’re reminded that we're not alone, surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses whose lives testify to God's faithfulness and enduring grace. But as encouraging as their stories are, they cannot run our race for us. The author of Hebrews calls us to fix our eyes solely on Jesus, the source and perfecter of our faith. Be encouraged to press on—not because the crowd is cheering—but because Christ is calling.
