Identity—Workmanship pt. 1
In a culture driven by performance and productivity, it’s easy to believe that our value comes from what we do. In this message from Ephesians 2:10, we are reminded that our identity precedes our activity. Paul declares that believers are not God’s tools or labor force, but His workmanship—carefully created, intentionally designed, and sovereignly finished by Him. This sermon explores what it means to be a new creation in Christ, not a refurbished version of our old selves, and why God saves us by grace before inviting us to walk in good works He has already prepared. As we rediscover who we are in Christ, we are called to rest in our identity, worship before activity, and depend daily on the life Christ supplies rather than our own self-effort.
