Identity—New Creation pt. 2

Building on last week’s message that the cross transforms how we see, Part 2 explores how it transforms who we are. Paul moves from a transformed perspective to a transformed person, declaring, “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” Pastor Brad explains that this new identity is not a polished version of the old self—it’s a total re-creation, the birth of something entirely new. Just as light bursts from darkness when a star is born, God’s Spirit ignites new life in the believer. The old guilt, shame, and condemnation pass away, and the new life of Christ takes center stage. This message calls believers to open their eyes and “see” what God has done—to live as visible proof that in Christ, the old has passed away, and the new has come.
